Are you able to directly bill my insurance for services?
One of the first questions that I usually answer for my clients is whether or not I “take insurance”. The answer is that I do not bill insurance companies and your insurance company can still pay for your therapy sessions. I currently do not accept insurance for several reasons. Utilizing insurance is a breech in confidentiality that follows the client and could sometimes affect their insurance rate. Insurance companies become privy to intimate details of an individual’s life that is part of their permanent record. In addition, a client is often times expected to make a co-pay of 50% of the session fee. There is a solution to making therapy affordable and utilizing insurances. I can provide you with documentation stating a diagnosis code and your visit dates and you may be reimbursed for the session fee. Some insurance carriers will reimburse individuals for my services if you have "Out of Network" coverage. I strongly encourage you to contact your insurance carrier for more information. Also, I am able to take credit cards so that you are able to utilize your Health Savings & Flex Spending Account card for my services. Any medical reimbursement plan you may have will reimburse you for 100% of the session fee. Utilizing your insurance in this manner can often be more cost effective for the client in the long run and keeps confidentiality intact.
Rates
50 min Initial Intake Session for Individuals- $150
50 min Initial Intake Session for Couples/Families- $175
50 min Clinical Supervision or Business Consultation- $125
50 min Individual Session- $125
50 min Couple/Family Session- $150
50 Minute Group Session- $65
Paperwork Completion/Consultation Outside Session Time- $3 per minute (Minimum- $45 charge)

Payment
Cash, check, all major credit cards and Health Savings & Flex Spending Account Cards are accepted for payment. Feel free to discuss any payment questions prior to your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified the office at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Sliding Scale
At this time I may be able to accommodate clients that are experiencing financial hardship with sliding scale rates. Please discuss this with me prior to your first appointment.
